POJK

Pakistani government has not taken sufficient measures to encourage development-oriented investment in #POJK region #MyPOJK

There is dearth of available jobs in #POJK, young men & women in particular migrate to Pakistan’s larger cities in search of low-paying jobs at hotels, restaurants, and clothing stores. #MyPOJK

Civilians living in #POJK suffer from lawlessness and anarchy, an absence of political legitimacy, and disenfranchisement. #MyPOJK

Roads in #POJK are in a bad shape, Pakistan is directly responsible for the poor infrastructure  #MyPOJK

In Pakistan-occupied Jammu KASHMIR (#POJK), people continue to bear the human rights violations by the Pakistan military and the non-state actors #MyPOJK

#POJK shares its boundary with China and Afghanistan but continues to remain backward. The leaders from PoJK and Gilgit-Baltistan have continuously raised human rights issues #MyPOJK

The aboriginals of #POJK live under the scrutiny of terrorists and they cannot enjoy their freedom of expression due to this interference. #MyPOJK

Shias who ruled the Gilgit-Balistan region have now been reduced to a minority. Sunnis from Pakistan enjoy better job avenues. #MyPOJK

Pakistan's illegal occupation has pushed Gilgit-Baltistan, once an economically thriving region, into the most neglected, backward and poorest area of entire South Asia. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has denied the residents of #POJk even basic constitutional and legal rights promised by India but hypocritically speaks of the right of self-determination in J&K. #MyPOJK

According to a report by the Islamabad-based Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies, the region has a literacy rate of mere 14 per cent for men and 3.5 per cent for women. #MyPOJK

Many political and religious people have been prosecuted in Gilgit-Baltistan jails without giving them access to legal, constitutional redress options in the high court and Supreme Court. #MyPOJK

Under an agreement reached between Pakistan and China in 1963, Pakistan illegaly handed over 5,180 square km of territory to China. This territory actually belongs to India. #MyPOJK

The so-called independent legislative assembly of #POJK is not allowed to prepare even one document on its own. #MyPOJK

Pakistani establishment has used draconian legislation to frame or suppress the voice of anybody who has dissented or has gone against the laid protocols. #MyPOJK

Residents of Gilgit-Baltistan and #POJK have grown frustrated with both Chinese and Pakistani attempts at exploiting their resources in a reckless manner #MyPOJK

There is a growing resentment among locals over China’s presence in the region. To fulfill the requirements of the project, the government and the army are forcibly acquiring the ancestral land of the locals in Gilgit-Baltistan. #MyPOJK

Developmental activities virtually came to standstill in the #POJK due to the colonial mindset of Pakistani rulers in contrast to the fast paced development in Jammu and Kashmir. #MyPOJK

Protests in different areas of #POJK, against the non-availability of basic amenities, have become a routine affair because Pakistan authorities are treating this region as a colony. #MyPOJK

In terms of infrastructure, J&K is way ahead of the #POJK region. With four airports, several universities, proper railway infrastructure, highway and tunnels, hospitals, and bridges, J&K is infrastructurally superior. #MyPOJK

#POJK has emerged as an epicentre of terrorism. Pakistan has been using the region as a launchpad to perpetrate cross-border terror attacks against India. #MyPOJK

Mushrooming of terrorist groups in #POJK all these years could not have been possible without Pakistan exercising tight control over the region. The people have been denied their rights to self-govern lest they oppose such machinations. #MyPOJK

The #POJK residents have never been allowed to open their mouth and express their political and socio-economic grievances. #MyPOJK

#POJK has been treated as a colony by Pakistan as no signs of development are visible there. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has neglected basic development needs in #POJK. This occupied region suffers from poor infrastructure and a lack of exposure to modern resources and technology. #MyPOJK

Pakistan government has not taken sufficient measures to encourage development-oriented investment in the region, and the Pakistani military has kept the region’s people Un privileged. #MyPOJK

The unemployment rate in #POJK is high and the literacy rate is low. Rulers in Pakistan have not paid much attention towards developing any sector in the region. #MyPOJK

The #POJK residents suffer from lawlessness and anarchy and political disenfranchisement. Pakistan has focused on securing its political hold over the region and has exploited our citizens living there. #MyPOJK

A conglomerate of terrorist groups i.e sectarian as well as those focused on the conflict in Kashmir is also using #POJK as a safe haven for its activities. #MyPOJK

#POJK people have tried to stage protests against the policies of Pakistani government and the terrorist groups but their voices were stifled before these could reach out to the world. #MyPOJK

People of #POJK, second rate citizens in Pakistan, lead a fearful life under the hawk eyes of the ISI and Pak Army. They can not start their own newspapers or news agencies for truth to be exposed. #MyPOJK

Residents of #POJK including Gilgit-Baltistan are suffering from Pakistan’s continued perpetration of injustice #MyPOJK

In Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, nationalist leaders and political workers and human rights activists are being booked for sedition. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has virtually committed genocide in #POJK and changed the demography by resettling people from other parts, pushing the indigenous population into a minority. #MyPOJK

The practice of enforced disappearances has increased dramatically, security forces continue to act with impunity & are accused of widespread human rights violations, including arbitrary arrests & enforced disappearances in #MyPOJK

Many political organizations have asked Pakistan to restore fundamental rights of the people, abolish all discriminatory laws against political parties, human rights defenders and allow the press to function freely in #MyPOJK

People of #POJK are living like slaves, are denied all forms of human rights, including freedom to practice religion of their choice, speak their language or follow their culture and customs #MyPOJK

The demographic composition of #POJK has been tempered by Pakistan to reduce the majority of shias into a minority. Sectarian clashes between the people have have been engineered by Pakistan #MyPOJK

#POJK under Pakistan’s preposterous control has lost its shine, facing severe cultural challenges, strategic underrepresentation, marginalisation and human rights violations #MyPOJK

Pakistan’s approach towards #POJK has always been laodicean, debilitating, authoritarian, clandestine and abdicating; considering Gilgit-Baltistan and annexed Jammu as an extra piece of land coming from squabbling. #MyPOJK

Nearly 70% of #POJK population work as daily wage laborers. 75% do not have any food security #MyPOJK

Total area of erstwhile  Jammu Kashmir was 2,22,236 sq Km. Today we have only 1,01,000 sq Km area. The regions now under the illegal occupation of Pakistan & China are referred to as #POJK, POTL &  China Occupied Territory of Laddakh, COTL. #MyPOJK

#POJK is an integral part of Bharat. Pakistan must vacate the territories it is occupying illegally. #MyPOJK

On 22 Feb. 1994,  Narsimha Rao govt unanimously passed a resolution to reclaim the PoJK & GB. Even after 28 years, this dream remains unfulfilled. Our J&K is incomplete without #MyPOJK

Banganga Temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Ganga is situated at Khuiratta Town, Kotli district, #POJK. This historical temple has been in ruins with its idols stolen & walls collapsing since the illegal occupation of Pakistan. #MyPOJK

The Sharada Peeth was a most prominent Temple University of the Indian subcontinent known particularly for its library that contained works of the scholars of international repute. The institution stands reduced to mere remains now.  #MyPOJK

India has the will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity. #MyPOJK

#POJK is an integral part of Bharat, its our motherland, we will librate it from the illegal occupation of Pakistan, even ready to lay down our lives to librate it. #MyPOJK

The entire region of Jammu & Kashmir was, is & will always remain an integral part of India. The only issue to be resolved is #POJK which Pakistan has been illegally occupying since long. #MyPOJK

India stands committed to retrieve Pakistan occupied JammuAndKashmir #MyPOJK

Indian Parliament had unanimously adopted a resolution in which it was clarified that the whole of Jammu & Kashmir including #POJK is an integral part of India and that Pakistan must vacate all the parts of J&K under its forcible occupation #MyPOJK

Centuries ago, Chankaya had came from Taxila to unify the  country. Now it is time for the contemporary Chanakyas to reclaim what we lost. Unification of #POJK with India will give wings to the aspirations of the people of these areas #MyPOJK

After abrogation of Art 370, reclaiming #POJK is the last mile to walk and settle the issue. Let the new age of common shared culture, language & ethos flourish again so that we all call ourselves as Bharata again #MyPOJK

Forced expulsion of minorities from #POJK has left an indelible mark on our people there. This scar can only be healed once we reclaim the land of our ancestors where once the beacon of knowledge & civilization of our nation flashed #MyPOJK

Budget for  Jammu Kashmir in India is Rs 1.12 lakh crore ($ 13.33 billion appx) for the year 2022-23, compared to Pakistan's budget for #POJK which in 2021-22 was just over $ 78.55 million #MyPOJK

Acc. to the 2017 census, population of #POJK was 40.5 lakh and the per capita income is less than $ 200 per annum. The situation has worsened in these 5 years. #MyPOJK

If we compare the per capita budget, New Delhi allocates nearly five times more money to Jammu Kashmir than Islamabad does to #MyPOJK

Islamabad has historically neglected basic development needs in #POJK, which suffers from poor infrastructure and a lack of available resources and technology #MyPOJK

#POJK has been treated as a colony by Pakistan as no signs of development are visible there. Its over four million residents have never been allowed to open their mouths and express their political and socio-economic grievances  #MyPOJK

The high rate of unemployment in #POJK is a result of insufficient public and private investments in the productive sectors of the economy  #MyPOJK

Due to lack of quality educational institutions, healthcare facilities and dearth of  jobs, residents of #POJK migrate to Pakistan’s large cities or to gulf countries in search of menial jobs in hotels, restaurants, and as drivers & labourers  #MyPOJK

According to the planning & development department of #POJK, around 50 % of the total population in the region has no access to piped water. 78 % of the total households donot have tap water connections. #MyPOJK

Healthcare infrastructure in #POJK is dismal even by Pakistani standards. While the average population per doctor in Pakistan is 1127, the same in POJK is 4799 #MyPOJK

Jammu & Kashmir is all about success stories and development. On the other hand #POJK has been treated as a colony by Pakistan and no signs of development are visible there. #MyPOJK

The unemployment rate in #POJK is high and the literacy rate is low. Rulers in Pakistan have focused exclusively on turning POJK into terror training camps and launch pads. #MyPOJK

#POJK residents suffer from absence of political legitimacy & democratic participation. Pakistan has focused on securing its political hold over the region and has oppreased its residents who are constitutionally the citizens of India. #MyPOJK

The focused development on infrastructure in J&K completely routs #POJK. Four airports and 28 railway stations exist in J&K against 2 dysfunctional airports and no railways in POJK. #MyPOJK

The poverty rate in #POJK stands at 34% and the unemployment rate at 18.1% as compared to a poverty rate of 10.35% in J&K and an unemployment rate of 12.13%. #MyPOJK

The number of universities and educational institutes in J&K is overwhelming with 183 universities and colleges including 18 medical colleges in comparison to only 8 such institutes in #POJK including 3 medical colleges. #MyPOJK

Turning #POJK into a breeding ground for terrorism, which it can then push onto the Indian soil, Pakistan has battered and bruised the rugged terrains and flushing meadows of POJK and Gilgit-Baltistan #MyPOJK

Pakistan's true agenda for #POJK has never been its development or changing its economic fortunes but to reserve and unleash the spectre of terrorism from its soil to target the civilians and security forces in J&K. #MyPOJK

Civilians of #POJK and Gilgit Baltistan who are constitutional citizens of India are under constant threat of terrorism perpetrated by the Pakistani state which is also backed by a "China-led genocide". #MyPOJK

Pakistan is causing demographic engineering which is occurring in #POJK and Gilgit Baltistan in the name of a "China Pakistan Economic Corridor" (CPEC) that encourages illegal settlements of Pakistanis and Chinese in the region. #MyPOJK

Pakistani military generals and feudal politicians do not even think that residents of the #POJK are human beings. They have extracted the natural resources of the region to the extent that today they are left with nothing. #MyPOJK

By engineering the Sunni settlements from outside in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistani ISI and Army have created a permanent divide between the various groups in this region. #MyPOJK

During the last seven decades, Pakistan has imposed ad hoc governing structures in #POJK and GB without giving them either an independent or a provincial status which they continue to demand at various international forums. #MyPOJK

Political deprivation, Pakistan’s exercise of forceful control aided now by China and its deliberate strategy of playing the sectarian card have all adversely impacted peace and security in Gilgit Baltistan. #MyPOJK

The condition of healthcare is dismal in PoJK. There are only 73 hospitals and health centres in #POJK. There are 4,916 people covered by each doctor in the state, much lower than the recommended doctor-population ratio of WHO #MyPOJK

Gilgit Baltistan is a disputed area, it is not Pakistan's territory. It has been illegally occupied by Pak since 1947, it belongs to India and the people of Gilgit Baltistan. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has seemingly been a poor performer in human development in G-B, leading to the underdevelopment of the territory #MyPOJK

Gilgit Baltistan region has an extremely low literacy rate. In the area, a meagre 14 % of men are educated, while education among women is even worse at 3.5 %. #MyPOJK

The unemployment rate in #POJK at 18%  is higher than the national average 10.3% in Pakistan whereas the same for J&K  is lower than the national average in India. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has long been making attempts to radicalise Gilgit Baltistan and induce strong sectarian differences amongst the people. #MyPOJK

Terror camps that are being run here openly with the active support of the Pakistani Army have bred hundreds of Sunni Jihadis of the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), who are now operating all across Gilgit Baltistan killing Shia Muslims. #MyPOJK

The abolishment of the State Subject Rule in GB in 1974 and introduction of the Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment and Self-governance Order in 2009 snatched land rights from G-B locals and opened the door for Pakistani settlements in the region. #MyPOJK

In terms of health & education, the two foundational pillars of the HDI, J&K's budget is many times greater than that of PoJK. We wish our people living in #POJK had the same opportunities. #MyPOJK

J&K is better taken care of by India in terms of infrastructure in health and education sectors, besides other components of the human development index. #MyPOJK

Pakistan has framed policies to alter the demographics of GB and systematically secure the ownership of land that is possessed by locals to plunder the natural resources of the region. #MyPOJK

Political mobilisation along sectarian lines has complicated matters and widened the divide between the Shias and the Sunnis in Gilgit Baltistan giving reasons to Pakistan army to intervene and consolidate the illegal occupation. #MyPOJK

Pakistan’s reluctance to address popular grievances and aspirations combined with China plundering the resources of the region has led to the demands for independence from the oppression of Pakistan #MyPOJK

Mahmood Kashmiri, chairman of Jammu Kashmir National Independence Alliance (JKNIA) from #POJK , said "In the socalled 'Azad Kashmir', an atmosphere of fear exists as we are being harassed by the security agencies of Pakistan." #MyPOJK

Feb 22, 1994 Indian parliamentary resolution reiterated the legal position that the entire territory of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India and asked Pakistan to vacate the area under its illegal occupation. #MyPOJK

If the Berlin wall can cease to exist, if Cold war can end, if Europe can become borderless then why not the whole of Jammu & Kashmir can become one entity again as envisaged by Parliament resolution of 22nd February 1994. #MyPOJK

The surgical strike was a clear message to Pakistan that India will not allow its territory(#POJK)  to be used for anti-India activities. #MyPOJK

Pakistan’s failed state character and violent behaviour have reversed situation for Pakistan in #POJK & Gilgit-Baltistan. This was seen during protests in POJK for democracy and against suppressive policies of Pakistan. #MyPOJK

The State of Jammu & Kashmir has been, is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means. #MyPOJK

The entire princely state of Jammu and Kashmir became an integral part of India by signing of the Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh in October 1947. #MyPOJK
