ठाकुर रामसिंह जी की कर्मशक्ति का ज्योति पथ

 ईश्वर को विधान में जिसने जन्म लिया उसकी मृत्यु निश्चित है । इस विधान का प्रतिपादन में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण गीता में करते हैं कि जन्म - मरण के प्रवाह को कदापि रोका नहीं जा सकता जिसने जन्म लिया , उसकी मृत्यु होगी ही और जिनकी मृत्यु होती है , वे अवश्य पुनः जन्म लेते हैं 

जातस्य कि ध्रुवो मृत्यु ध्रुवं जन्म मृततस्य च । गीता २/२७ 

इस आवागमन के चक्र में विशेष बात यह है कि कुछ लोग अपने जीवन में कुछ ऐसे कीर्तिमान स्थापित करते है कि वे मर कर भी अमर हो जाते हैं । ऐसी ही अमर विभूति है राष्ट्रचिन्तक इतिहासवेता स्वर्गीय ठाकुर रानसिह जी जिनकी कर्मशक्ति का ज्योति पथ मानव समाज और राष्ट्र पथ को सदा आलोकित करता रहेगा । वीरवती यशस्वी इतिहास पुरुष नकुर राम सिंह जी का जन्म आज से वर्ष पहले विक्रमी संवत् १६७9 के फाल्गुन मास की ४ प्रविष्टे तदनुसार माघ शुक्ल तृतीया , कलियुगाब्द ५०१६ एवं ईस्वी सन् 16 फरवरी , 1915 को वर्तमान हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला हमीरपुर के झण्डवी गांव में माता श्रीमती नियातु की कोख से पिता श्री भाग सिंह के घर में हुआ था । भारतवर्ष का गौरवशाली इतिहास सत्य तथ्यों के साथ प्रकाश में लाना ठाकुर रामसिंह जी का परम लक्ष्य रहा है । इसके लिए वे देश भर में निरन्तर प्रवास करते रहे । लक्ष्य पूर्ति के ध्येय से वे आजीवन अपनी ८६ वर्ष की आयु पर्यन्त पूर्ण आत्मविश्वास के साथ चरैवेति चरैवेति ! के ऋषि संदेश को चरितार्थ करते हुए कभी यहां तो कभी वहां चलते रहे । चलते रहे ! कभी थके नही । लेकिन असंख्य विद्वानों को लक्ष्य पूर्ति की अदम्य प्रेरणा देकर अपने यशरची संकल्प का विस्तार करके कलियुगाब्द ५११२. विक्रमी संवत २०६७ , भाद्रपद , सौर मास की प्रविष्टे २२ , कृष्ण त्रयोदशी तदनुसार ६ सितम्बर , २०१० को इस लोक से चले गए तथा पंचतत्व में विलीन हो कर ब्रह्मलीन हो गए । बाल्यकाल से ही श्रद्धेय ठाकुर राम सिंह जी की प्रतिभा कुशाग्रता सम्पन्न थी । सन् १६४१ में वे लाहौर में एफ . सी . महाविद्यालय में एम.ए. ( इतिहास ) के छात्र थे । उसी बीच वे सितम्बर , १६४9 में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के स्वयंसेवक बने । सन १६४२ में एम . ए की अन्तिम परीक्षा में इन्होंने एफ.सी. कॉलेज में प्रथम स्थान अर्जित किया । महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य ने इन्हें महाविद्यालय में इतिहास के प्रवक्ता के पद पर कार्य करने को कहा । आप ने इस पद को स्वीकार नहीं किया और राष्ट्रभक्ति के पोषणार्थ सन १६४२ में लाहौर से १८ स्वयंसेवकों ने प्रचारक का दायित्व सम्भाला । पंजाब प्रान्त के तत्कालीन प्रान्त प्रचारक श्री माधव राव मूले ने प्रचारक के रूप में ठाकुर राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के प्रचारक बन गए |
