क्रेसलर बिल्डिंग को आधिकारिक रूप से खोला गया 

आज ही के दिन 1920 में न्यूयॉर्क के मैनरहन में किसलर बिल्डिंग को आधिकारिक तौर पर बोला गयााया इमारत उस वक्त दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची इमारत थी , जिसका रिकॉर्ड करीब 11 महीने तक सााइसकी ऊबाई करीब 35 मीटर है ।

भूकंप के कारण इंडोनेशिया में जान - माल का व्यापक नुकसान हुआ

 आज ही के दिन 2006 में इंडोनेशिया के जावा में भीषण भूकंप के चलते व्यापक नुकसान हुआ । इसके कारण करीब 6 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों की जान गई और करीब 60 हजार से ज्यादा घर नष्ट हो गए । इसकी तीव्रता रिक्टर पैमाने पर 6 2 मापी गई ।

रवि शास्त्री 

क्रिकेटर से क्रिकेट कोच तक का सफर करने वाले शास्त्री आजही 1962 मे विकेटर रवि शास्त्री का जन्म मुंबई में हुआ । डॉन बीरको हाईस्कूल से पढ़ाई के दौरान ही क्रिकेट खेलना शुरू किया । क्षा में न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ वनडे और इंग्लैंड खिलाफ टेस्ट कैप मिली । ऑलराउडर की भूमिका निभाई ।80 टेस्ट में 3.830 रन और 151 विकेट लिए जबकि 150 वनडे में 3.106 ल और 129 चिकटवटकार ।1992 में दोनों फॉर्मट से सन्यास ले लिया।पहले ऐसे भारतीय क्रिकेटरहे जिसने प्रथम श्रेणी में एक ही ओवर मेह छाके लगाए । फिलहाल भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के कोच है ।

शांति 

प्रत्येक मनुष्य निज जीवन में शांति पाना चाहता है , लेकिन इसके लिए जिन गुण - कर्मों को निज जीवन में आत्मसात करने की जरूरत होती है , वह क्रिया - कर्म मनुष्य करना नहीं चाहता । लिहाजा मनुष्य के जीवन में अशांति की वृद्धि होती जाती है और व्यक्ति जीवन में परेशानियों से जूझते हुए सफर करता नजर आता है । एक समय की बात है । एक यजमान पंडित जी के पास गया । उसने पंडित जी से कहा , मेरे जीवन में बहुत अशांति है । कृपया शांति प्राप्त करने का कोई उपाय बताइए । पडित जी ने उसे गीता की एक पुस्तक तथा उसे नित्य पाठ करने के लिए कहा । पडित जी ने उससे यह भी कहा कि गीता पाठ नित्य करने से सबकुछ ठीक हो जाएगा । यजमान को कलहोकर गीता पढ़ने की याद आई । जब यह पढ़ने चला तो उसने मन में मोआज नाहीं कल गीता का पाठ करेंगे । आज कुछ काम कर लेते हैं । पुनः कल भी गीता का पाठ यजमान नहीं कर पाया , वह किसी अन्य काम में उलझ गया । तब तक एक चूहा गीता की पुस्तक को कुतरना आरंभ कर दिया । यजमान ने एक करीबी मित्र से पुस्तक को चूहे से बचाने के लिए उपाय पूछा । मित्र ने कहा , एक बिल्ली पाल लो । यजमान ने एक बिल्ली पाल ली । चूहा के मरने के बाद चिल्ली भूख से तड़पने लगी । फिर बिल्ली को बचाने के लिए उसने गाय पाल ली । गाय की देखभाल करने के लिए उसने शादी कर ली । उसे एक पुत्र भी हो गया । एक दिन पडित जी की मुलाकात बजमान से हो गई । पंडित जी ने यजमान से पूछा - यजमान तुम्हें शांति मिली या नहीं ? तुमने गीता का पाठ किया या नहीं ? यजमान ने पडित जी से कहा - शांति तो खो । पहले मैं अकेला था । अब तो बिल्ली , पल्ली पुत्र हो गए । कहने का तात्पर्य है कि मनुष्य संसार के कार्मों को प्रधानता ज्यादा देता है । जिससे जीवन सार्थक बने , जीवन में शांति प्राप्त हो , उसकी प्रधानता देकर अज्ञान के भंवर में बता रहता है ।

The Kressler Building was officially opened 

on this day, in 1920, the Kisler Building in Manrahan, New York was officially called the tallest building in the world at that time with a record height of about 11 meters for about 11 months.

Country and world

Due to the earthquake, there was widespread loss of life and property in Indonesia. 

On this day in 2006, a huge earthquake in Java, Indonesia caused extensive damage.  Due to this more than 6 thousand people lost their lives and more than 60 thousand houses were destroyed.  Its intensity measured 6 2 on the Richter scale.

Shastri, who traveled from cricketer to cricket coach, was born in 1962 in Mumbai, Viktor Ravi Shastri.  Don Birko started playing cricket while studying from high school.  Xa got ODI against New Zealand and Test cap against England.  Played as Allrouder. Took 3.830 runs and 151 wickets in 80 Tests while 3.106 L and 129 squads in 150 ODIs. He retired from both formats in 1992. The first Indian cricketer to score the same over in first class.  He is currently the coach of the Indian cricket team.

Every man wants to find peace in his life, but the qualities - actions which need to be imbibed in his life, are not the actions that a person wants to do.  Therefore, there is an increase of disturbance in the life of a person and a person is seen traveling through the troubles in life.  Once upon a time .  A Yajaman went to Panditji.  He told Panditji, there is a lot of disturbance in my life.  Please provide a way to achieve peace.  Padit ji asked him to read a book of the Gita and recite it regularly.  Padit ji also told him that by regularly reciting the Gita, everything will be fine.  Yajaman remembered to read the Gita while sobbing.  When he started reading this, he would read Moaz in his mind, not tomorrow.  Let's do some work today.  Again yesterday, he could not read the Gita, he got involved in some other work.  By then a mouse started gnawing on the book of Gita.  Yazman asks a close friend the remedy to save the book from the Rat.  Friend said, raise a cat.  Yajaman raised a cat.  After the rat died Chilli started to suffer from hunger.  Then he raised a cow to save the cat.  He got married to take care of the cow.  He also had a son.  One day Padit ji met Bajman.  Pandit ji asked Yajaman - Yajman did you find peace or not?  Did you read the Gita or not?  Yajman said to Paditji - Peace is lost.  At first I was alone.  Now the cat became a parish son.  It means to say that man gives more importance to the karmas of the world.  So that life becomes meaningful, peace is found in life, giving its prominence and telling it in the whirlpool of ignorance.
